Rottne H11D harvester with articulated steering works smoothly and agreeably and is superb on steep terrain or marshy ground. The hydrostatic transmission with three gear stages works with a high tractive force and gives Rottne H11D excellent operating characteristics. Furthermore, enhanced by the machine's small turning radius and with the bogie lift on both axles.
The harvester crane RC185 is specially designed and developed for the Rottne H11 range. RC185 is a parallel crane with a robust slewing base, tilt function, and high torque. The crane arms are available in two versions depending on the size of the head. In the standard design, with a single telescopic arm, the range is full 10.3 meters; in a version with a smaller head and double telescopic arms, the reach becomes 11.3 meters.
Rottne harvester cab features a modern design, where the operator sits in the center.+ Same cab for all harvesters+ Large windows provide excellent visibility+ Low noise level – quieter than in a new car+ Comfort Line+ Programmable buttons
The spacious and comfortable cab with large windows gives the operator an excellent view of the entire working area. The cab swivels +/ 90 degrees, level 15 degrees, and it automatically follows the crane from side to side, but can also be controlled manually with joysticks.
The unique Comfort Line cab suspension system reduces shock and impact, making driving on terrain significantly smoother. Initially, Comfort Line was introduced in 2007 – and is now a well-proven system. Since its introduction, Comfort Line had been developed with improved software, more robust design, and precision positioning.
Sound levels are low – in Rottne's cabs, it is quieter than in a new car. Rottne cabs easily satisfy the ergonomic guidelines that apply to forestry machines.
The interior of the cab, distribution box, computer equipment, and control functions are identical, which is a significant advantage for the operators that switch between different Rottne's machine models.
The entire rear section of the harvester, housing the engine and transmission, can be quickly opened for inspection and servicing. The hinged belly plates facilitate servicing work but also make the entire rear section very easy to keep clean.
The hydraulic system vacuum pump reduces oil spillage when replacing hoses. Electric pumps for diesel and hydraulic oil simplifies filling. The distribution box with fuses, relays, and computers is well-positioned for easy access and checking. Troubleshooting the electrical system can be performed via the machine control system’s operating screen.
EGS 596 - harvester head designed for Rottne H11, H14, or H21. The harvester head has three feed rollers, two located in supporting wheel arms that push the stem in towards the third feed roller. The tree's stem is held in a steady grip, supported by the rollers instead of limbing knives. Therefore, the knife pressure is lowered, which reduces the friction and consequently ensures better utilization of the feed force.
The upper and lower limbing knives, as well as wheel arms, can be operated, either jointly or individually.
The diameter measurement is performed via sensors in the lower knives and length measurement by a separate free-running measuring wheel.
The LOGMAX 4000T hydraulics layout significantly improves power and feeding speed, making this 833 kg* harvesting head the ultimate choice for thinning and lighter final cuts.
This thinning head comes equipped with the first-generation Log Max 218 and 318 True-Cut saw units with up to 58 cm of cut capacity.
All these features, combined with Log Max patented knife control system, which minimizes the feed friction, provides outstanding stem coverage, and increased log quality.
LOGMAX 5000D - a functional low weight harvester head, which provides excellent properties for thinning and medium final cut. The harvester head has a robust frame with internal components and well-embedded hoses, protected against external damage. The design of the delimbing knives provides good wrap, whereas the patented knife control reduces friction, as the stem never is pressed up against the frame.
LOGMAX 5000D has a high feed force, but as an option, there are larger wheel motors that increase the feed force to 25 kN yet reduce the feed speed a little.
Equipment for multi-tree handling, color marking, and stump treatment is available as an option.
SP461 LF - quick and versatile harvester head, designed for minimal friction and maximum production. Its low weight in combination with compact dimensions, ensure smooth and easy positioning, regardless of the space, and makes it an ideal harvester head for thinning.
The harvester head reaches its top capacity in stands with a b.h.d. of 10-25 cm; also handles coarser stems efficiently.
SP561 LF - a highly productive harvester head, designed for minimal friction and maximum production. Designed for varying tasks and offering excellent characteristics for both light thinning, as well as lighter final felling.
Compact dimensions combined with perfect limbing, down to 30 mm, meaning that light thinning is performed quickly and efficiently, with the highest quality.
For heavy felling, the smart LogHold and proportionally angled feed rollers create a harvester head with impressive stem holding and maximum production. SP561 LF is compact, broad, and versatile.
The harvester head reaches its top capacity in stands with a b.h.d. of 15 to 35 cm; also efficiently handles coarser stems.
