HC, KC, and JPC are two-way pressure compensators for modular assembling with on/off and proportional directional control valves. They keep a constant differential pressure (Δp) across port P and port A or B in order to maintain a constant flow rate against pressure variations. Automatic piloting selection is included. 

Fixed Δp is available only for size 06. Adjustment of desired Δp is operated by loosening the locking nut and turning the settings screw of the pilot device. Clockwise rotation increases Δp.

HC-031/8 is a 3-way pressure compensator in the modular execution with ISO 4401, size 06 mounting surface. When assembled with directional proportional valves, it provides a constant pressure drop = 8 bar (fixed setting) across the lines P-A or P-B. Thus, the flow controlled by the proportional valve is independent of the load variations at the user ports. They are mainly used in skylift, for the basket's leveling control.
