The C series seals, made of NBR 90 Shore A nitrile rubber, also called cover seals, are suitable for pneumatic cylinders. Their C-shape, which gives the name to these seals, does not guarantee fully automatic sealing. Besides the standard material, on request, seals are suppliable in other compounds: FKM (Viton), EPDM, VMQ (Silicone) if used with aggressive fluids, food applications, or high temperatures.
