EDC-1 connector is a digital amplifier for open-loop proportional valves control. The unit supplies a variable current, proportionally to the reference signal, independently from temperature variations or load. EDC-1 has a resolution of 1% on 2600 mA (the full-scale value).

The PWM stage on the solenoid power supply makes it possible to reduce the valve's hysteresis, thus optimizing control precision.
Maximum current and switching frequency (PWM) can be set individually to optimize the function of the connector.

Settings are adjusted via switches and the connector's display or using the appropriate EDC-PC / 10 software on a laptop connected via RS232.
